Since 1974, Families Rising has partnered with people like you to make sure that children and youth have a support system to love and guide them.

- Support the families caring for children in foster care
- Educate and guide child welfare professionals doing life-changing work
- Advocate for the rights of children and youth in the child welfare system
- Give a platform to those with lived expertise in adoption and foster care to share their experience
It is with great sadness that we share that our grant from the Administration for Children and Families, which supported the Center for Workforce Excellence and Leadership (CWEL), has been canceled effective December 8th due to our steadfast commitment to recognizing the diverse needs of our child welfare workforce and serving them equitably. With the loss of federal support, private philanthropy and individual donors are now critical to ensuring this important work continues—and that children and families do not bear the cost of this decision.
