Equipping the Next Generation for Political Engagement

Sen Ted Alexander and Rep Keith Kidwell will join our Pastors Action Zoom call next month to discuss our Student Seminars. These two legislators have helped us orient and equip young people on the operation and the politics of government. They have helped students review the North Carolina Constitution and the US Constitution. In a non partisan way, they have helped these young people gain an appreciation for the function of each body, the operation of the respective chambers and how bills become law.
We have invited them to talk about the importance of knowledge and understanding in these areas. The importance of student engagement and the opportunities for serving alongside legislators in the page and intern programs. Maybe one of these student seminars could benefit your church or school.
