Your generous support fuels our ongoing fight for equity, opportunity, and justice for all New Mexicans!

For 30 years, the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty (NMCLP) has partnered with our communities to take action for justice and promote the well-being of New Mexico’s children, families, and workers. Contributions from our donors make our bold advocacy possible!

Make your secure one-time or monthly recurring online donation below, or you can send a check payable to the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty to PO Box 27290, Albuquerque, NM 87125. Donors that set up an automatic monthly donation have the opportunity to support NMCLP's work in a convenient, consistent way that fits any budget. Monthly gifts of any amount can make a big difference!

Other Ways to Give

In addition to making one-time or monthly recurring donations, you can also support the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty by making a donation directly from your donor-advised fund, Individual Retirement Account, or through the transfer of stock, bonds, and other securities. You can also include NMCLP in your estate plan, creating a legacy based on the values most important to you. For more information or to reach out with questions about other ways to give, please contact our Senior Development Officer, Jessie Calero at jessie@nmpovertylaw.org or 505-302-2555.

Employer Match

Many employers offer matching gift programs that may double or even triple an employee's donation to an eligible 501(c)(3) organization. This option may even be available if you have retired from a business, or if your spouse makes the contribution. Ask your employer’s human resources contact whether a matching gift program is available and how to participate. If you arrange a matching gift, please notify Stacey Leaman at stacey@nmpovertylaw.org or 505-295-5201.

The New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service, and your donation is deductible as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
