Your generous support fuels our ongoing fight for equity, opportunity, and justice for all New Mexicans!

For 30 years, the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty (NMCLP) has partnered with our communities to take action for justice and promote the well-being of New Mexico’s children, families, and workers. Contributions from our donors make our bold advocacy possible!

We are excited to announce our “Justice Blooms Here” 30th Anniversary Campaign and ask for your support in raising $150,000 to invest in the future we’re growing together. To meet our goal, we’re asking you to consider a special anniversary gift of $500, $1,000, $2,500, or more. Your partnership comes at a critical time as cuts to public programs, healthcare, and education threaten the well-being of families across our state. At NMCLP, we are meeting this moment with strength and resolve—and we’re not backing down.

Your contribution will help us:

  • Seed the future with general operating dollars that allow us to respond to emerging needs. As every garden begins with seeds, long-term change starts with sustained support. Whether your gift is large or small, it leaves a lasting imprint on our work. Monthly donations or increased annual donations provide steady resources that allow us to advance our work year-round.
  • Nourish our roots with funding for the technology that helps power strong advocacy. Your gift to this campaign strengthens the essential infrastructure of NMCLP by funding new tools and software to help us host remote meetings that reach partners and stakeholders throughout the state, stay in touch with our network, and keep communities connected to the action during the legislative session.
  • Cultivate belonging by creating an inclusive community space where people feel safe, valued, and inspired. As we renovate our offices to be a welcoming and accessible gathering place, your gift will help us create a setting where partners feel at home, where art celebrates the cultures of our communities, and where people can connect, share food, and build power.
Make your secure one-time or monthly recurring online donation below, or you can send a check payable to the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty to PO Box 27290, Albuquerque, NM 87125.

This option may even be available if you have retired from a business, or if your spouse makes the contribution. Ask your employer’s human resources contact whether a matching gift program is available and how to participate. If you arrange a matching gift, please notify our Senior Development Officer, Jessie Calero at jessie@nmpovertylaw.org or 505-302-2555.
