MURAL PRESERVATION FUND
MaestraPeace is more than a mural—it’s a monumental tribute to women’s strength, struggle, and resistance. Created in 1994 by seven Bay Area women muralists, it stands as a powerful exhibition of women’s artistry and a celebration of our stories. As its stewards, we—The Women’s Building—hold the responsibility to preserve this living symbol of collective memory. Preserving MaestraPeace demands skilled care and real resources. This is community work, and we can’t do it alone. Join us in protecting this iconic artwork that continues to ignite imagination and resistance across generations.
