Understanding Colorado's Medicaid waiver system can feel overwhelming for families caring for children with disabilities or complex needs. This training will provide an overview of Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), including the CES, CwCHN, CHRP, and CFC waivers. Participants will learn who may qualify, which programs require a disability determination, how to access services, and where to begin when seeking support for their child or family.

​About the Presenter

Wendy Miles is a Family Support Specialist with Developmental Pathways and a former special education teacher. As a foster and adoptive parent, she has personally navigated the challenges of raising a child with multiple diagnoses, including RAD, ADHD, ASD, and ODD. Drawing from both professional and lived experience, Wendy is passionate about helping families understand available resources and access the services their children need to thrive.
