High Holiday Cooking from Around the World

A Virtual Cooking Class with Amy Atkins

Intimidated at the idea of attempting a sweet, round challah for Rosh Hashanah? We are here to help! We will send you the ingredient list (and a helpful how-to video) to make the dough ahead of time (it will need a 2-4 hour rise time). You can show up for the class with your risen dough and we will braid and bake together.

While the challah is in the oven, we will learn how to make Tranches d’Orange au Sirop (Orange Slices Cooked in Syrup). This recipe, with roots in Moroccan and Italian cooking, is an easy way to diversify your Rosh Hashanah table.

Note: This is not a gluten-free cooking class. The challah recipe contains gluten.
