Passover Freedom Songs Havdalah Nosh & Schmooze
Please join Judaism Your Way for our Passover Freedom Songs Havdalah Nosh & Schmooze on Saturday, April 27th from 6-7pm!
Passover, the Jewish holiday of celebrating freedom from enslavement, begins at sundown on Monday, April 22. It’s a tradition to recount the epic crossing of the Red Sea into freedom later during the week of Passover.
We’ll begin by singing songs of freedom together. Then we’ll transition into a few wordless melodies (no Hebrew required) and say goodbye to Shabbat with a short and sensory-rich Havdalah (Candles! Wine! Cinnamon sticks!).
Afterwards, join us for a casual and relaxing schmooze with a potluck dessert. Please bring a dessert without leavening to share – fruit, Passover macaroons, or ‘matzo crack’ (chocolate toffee matzah) are great options.
This gathering is geared towards families with kids 4 and up, and adults of all ages.
Location details will be sent out upon registration.
