About Our Field Trips The Museum can accommodate up to 80 students and their chaperones per visit.
We offer field trips Monday through Friday. Our field trip visits typically begin by 10:00 am and last 2-2.5 hours, depending on the size of the group.
Our field trip visits include an age appropriate introduction to the Holocaust through multimedia, a talk with a survivor or the descendent of a survivor, and a tour of the exhibit galleries. Larger groups will be split into smaller groups and alternate between the classroom and exhibit experiences. Groups may eat lunch in the classroom space; please let us know when you register or at the earliest convenience so we may accommodate you.
We are grateful to many donors and foundations for their support of our Mission. All our education programs are free of charge as a result of these donors’ generosity.
Special Note: Thanks to a generous grant from Suncoast Credit Union Foundation, funds are available to help with the cost of Field Trips to the Museum, including transportation and substitute teacher cost. Please let us know how we can help in getting your students to the Museum.
Please contact our education department at info@hmcec.org or call 239-263-9200 for details and restrictions.
