TRAIL has been driving for independence since 1991. We make a difference…one subsidized ride at a time. But it’s about so much more than a ride. We solely transport our riders to recreation, leisure and educational programs offered by AR&LE (Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange). All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities.
For many, TRAIL is their only affordable transportation option, providing them independence and the opportunity to learn, socialize and truly be a part of their community. Through fundraising, grants and donations, TRAIL subsidizes the cost of transportation, and riders pay a nominal $2 roundtrip fare.
