Thank you for partnering with The Empty Stocking Fund to help children across Georgia start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
Every volunteer shift is a little different depending on the needs of the warehouse. You may help:
- Unbox and inspect donated school supplies and other donated items.
- Sort and organize products by category.
- Restock shelves in our Teacher Resource Center.
- Bundle, label, or repackage donated items.
- Prepare materials for upcoming teacher shopping days, student readiness kit builds, or holiday distributions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist staff with a variety of warehouse projects as needed.
No special experience is necessary. Our staff will provide instructions, answer questions, and ensure you have everything you need to make a meaningful impact.
Why It Matters
Every box sorted, every shelf restocked, and every donation organized helps us serve students, teachers, and families more efficiently. Your volunteer shift allows our small staff to maximize every donated item and get critical resources into the hands of the people who need them most.
Before You Sign Up
By registering to volunteer, you agree to ESF's Volunteer Release Form .
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Most volunteer activities take place in our warehouse, which is not climate controlled. If it's hot outside, it will likely be hot inside. If it's cold outside, it may be chilly inside. Please dress appropriately for the weather and consider bringing a water bottle.
