Meeting Obligations and Responsibilities

The TPHS Foundation holds regular monthly Board meetings the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM lasting approximately 1-2 hours.  Every Board member will receive a Board of Director's handbook with the Foundation calendar, Board roster, by-laws and policies.

The Foundation has many opportunities for engagement and leadership: 

Board Member Committees (positions may change as needed)

  • Development / Fundraising (Major Donors, Alumni Relations, Business Partners, Parent Fundraising, Donor Appreciation)

  • Grants (Department, Teacher and Staff Grants)

  • Finance (Accounting, Audit and Compliance)

  • Parent Connections (Freshman Orientation, Back to School Night, Parent Socials & Information Events)

  • Student Connections (Challenge Days, Awards Night, Graduation & Student Support Programs)

  • Staff/Teacher Connections (Staff Luncheons, Holiday Celebrations and Other Staff Support Events)

  • Extracurricular Group Connections (After School Program Support, Fundraising & Management)

  • Marketing Committee (PR/Social Media/Editorials & Communication)

  • Volunteer Committee  (Volunteer Recruitment, Assignments and Appreciation)

  • Alumni Connections (Events & Hall of Fame)
