BDSRA Equipment Exchange Grant

The BDSRA Foundation Equipment Exchange Grant provides families the opportunity to gift gently used equipment to fellow Batten families who are in need. The equipment must be gifted to families free of charge, and BDSRA will cover the shipping costs. BDSRA hosts an annual Facebook Swap Party on Earth Day to connect Batten families who want to participate.

The Palermo Family (above) received a wheelchair through the Equipment Exchange program for their daughter, Amelia, who has CLN1. The Palermos also sent orthotic equipment to a family in Morocco through the program.
