Juke Matthews
Campus Missionary

Juke Matthews first encountered FOCUS as a dual-enrollment student at Collin College. As a shy and anxious 15-year-old, he found a community that welcomed him warmly and helped him grow into a deeper and more personal faith in Christ. Through friendships, mentorship, and discipleship, the ministry had a profound impact on his life during his high school years.

Because of that experience, Juke chose to attend the University of Texas at Dallas so he could continue growing in the same community that had shaped his faith. During his three years at UTD, he became increasingly passionate about reaching college students with the Gospel and helping them experience the same life-changing community that had impacted him.

That passion ultimately led him to apply for the FOCUS apprenticeship, where he is now preparing to serve the UTD campus as a missionary this coming school year. Juke is excited to invest in students, build meaningful relationships, and help others encounter Christ during their college years.

Outside of ministry, Juke enjoys playing board games, cooking, and meeting new people.
