Adriana Pike
Campus Missionary

Ever since I can remember, my life has been shaped by a desire to pursue the American dream. As an immigrant, I grew up believing that success came through hard work, achievement, and stability—and for a while, I chased exactly that.
2013 was a pivotal moment for me, as I began college at TWU. I was searching for more than just good grades and a degree—I was longing for friendship, community, and ultimately, something deeper. Through FOCUS, I encountered Jesus and discovered authentic relationships with people who loved me, challenged me, and walked alongside me. Their investment changed everything. Their faithfulness, discipleship, and presence helped lead me into a relationship with Jesus that gave me purpose, hope, and a new direction.
After graduation, I stepped into what I believed was the start of my dream career in business. But even as doors opened and I began to experience "success," I couldn’t shake the sense that God was inviting me back—to the place where my own life had been transformed. I never imagined I’d leave my career behind to become a full-time college missionary, but that’s exactly what happened!
These last 6 years of ministry haven't been easy. There have been real challenges, sacrifices, and moments of doubt. But every time I sit across from a student asking big questions about life and faith, I’m reminded why I said yes. I get to be part of what God is doing in the lives of students here at Collin College during one of the most formative times of their lives—just like others were for me.
Community colleges are some of the most underserved and overlooked campuses, with little to no student life. And yet, more and more Collin College campuses are being planted here in the DFW area. When you choose to support me, you are helping bring life to these campuses—you are extending authentic community and offering students the opportunity to encounter Jesus, often for the very first time.
