The Capitol Prayer Team, through the Church Ambassador Network of PA Family Institute, has been engaging our state leaders since 2018. We are part of network that is now in twenty-one states engaging our elected officials. This shepherd-to-shepherd ministry brings together leaders of the Church with leaders of government. We are so grateful to you, as a leader in the church, for choosing to serve on this team. 

1 Timothy 2:1-4 sets the stage for this ministry: First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

What happens when God's leaders bring the truth of the Gospel into our state Capitol? Come and see! Harrisburg can be a crazy place to say the least. Our presence brings the light of Christ and touches our leaders in a powerful way. We have seen the Lord move in the hearts of legislators on both sides of the aisle.

Capitol Prayer Team times are about four hours in length, generally from 9am to 1pm, unless otherwise noted. This includes having lunch together, which is on us. Please be prepared for much walking around the Capitol. We can easily log a couple miles in our time together. 

Upon signing up you will receive an acknowledgement, and we will also be in touch with more details ahead of your time at the Capitol.
