The Capitol Prayer Team, through the Church Ambassador Network of PA Family Institute, has been engaging our leaders at the state level for over six years. We are grateful for the many pastors and other Church leaders who have partnered in this ministry!
We move in the context of 1 Timothy 2:1-4 which states: First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
No doubt it can be a contentious environment in Harrisburg. We walk in Spirit and Truth, bringing the Word of God into an arena that so desperately needs the light of Christ. God has opened doors on both sides of the aisle to minister to and pray with our state legislators. Capitol Prayer Team times are about four hours in length, including lunch together. Upon signing up, you will receive an acknowledgement.
