The Artist Community Relief Fund supports artists and arts workers in our local Lower East Side and Chinatown community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that artists and arts workers are struggling, and many are facing dire financial emergencies, from cancelled shows and exhibitions, to challenges accessing unemployment, to the reality of not being able to pay rent and put food on the table.

The Artist Community Relief Fund provides unrestricted $250 emergency grants to help our creative community mitigate these financial challenges.  We have seen an overwhelming response to our initial Artist Community Relief Fund launch and are now seeking additional funds to support another round of awards. 

While we know artists are hurting right now, we believe with support they will be the voice and vision for a future beyond this current crisis. Abrons is here to support the resilience, creativity, and innovation that artists continue to bring into the world. We are grateful for any amount you can give--100% of your donation will directly support artists and arts workers.

$1,000 underwrites four artist community relief awards.

$500 supports two artist relief awards.

$250underwrites one artist relief award.

$125 supports half of an artist relief award.

$25 supports a portion of an artist relief award.

A gift of any amount helps open doors for all our clients at the Settlement.
