The California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) is a statewide, community-led alliance that works to achieve environmental justice by advancing policy solutions. We unite the powerful local organizing of our members in the communities most impacted by environmental hazards – low-income communities and communities of color – to create comprehensive opportunities for change at a statewide level. We represent approximately 35,000 Asian Pacific American, Latino, and African American residents in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Joaquin Valley, Los Angeles, Inland Valley, and San Diego/Tijuana area.

With no government funding, CEJA relies fully on public contributions to do our work. Every voice and every dollar makes a difference.
A gift of $2 a month supports up to 120 emails directly from community members to state decisionmakers. $5 a month can support a community member joining an action event at a power plant or government building in their community. $7 a month can pay for critical language interpretation resources at community education events. $10 a month can support one of our issue area experts coordinating our members to create a united front for advocacy efforts.
