Becca Thurston
Campus Missionary

As a former student at Collin College, community college students hold a special place in my heart. My freshman year at Collin was a pivotal time for me; it’s when I got connected to FOCUS and learned that Jesus was inviting me and all disciples to live life on mission with him. I began to know Jesus deeper as I went out on campus with my friends to invite others students to follow him.

After Collin, I transferred to and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a BS in Nutrition and Health Education. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of loving and serving college students as a vocation; welcoming them into Jesus-centered community and teaching them to follow Jesus not just now, but for the rest of their lives. After four years of working with the colleges in Denton, I am thrilled to return to my community college roots and serve at Dallas College: Richland Campus.
